Responsibilities

  • To create, maintain and extend manual test plans to handle the requirements of the stories provided.
  • To create, maintain and extend manual regression tests and scripts to handle all of the circumstances documented in the stories supplied.
  • To create, maintain and prepare test data required for the execution of the test plans and test scripts
  • To provide estimations of testing activities against the stories provided.
  • To manually test the website and the restful APIs. Website testing will include testing on different devices, browsers, email clients and different screen resolutions.
  • To perform manual testing throughout the life cycle of software development including at the point of release.
  • To document all testing activities above, this will involve liaising with the team and agreeing on the best approach for documentation.
  • All documentation is to be created and made available on the Cromwell network throughout the contract period, no work or documentation should be stored personally. Examples of the documentation are test execution reports, test evidence, screen shots and videos.
  • To document and communicate to management any key risks, bugs or issues related to the quality of the product.
  • To document bugs identified through testing or feedback from user journeys. This should include the steps to replicate, actual behaviour and expected behaviour.
  • To understand and action all deliverables
  • To collaborate with the team and project owner to create and agree test scenarios.
  • To monitor any development to ensure that quality and accuracy is maintained on the platform.
