Responsibilities

  • Interprets the client brief and collaborates with creative strategy and commercial leads to offer the best and most relevant paid media solution.
  • Devises and outlines a clear paid media strategy - proposes a campaign structure that includes relevant objectives, audiences, platforms, budget splits and formats (and any other recommendations). The Paid Media Manager uses learnings and data from previous campaigns to inform the distribution strategy.
  • Accurately forecasts paid media deliverables in collaboration with commercial leads with the help of a campaign calculator, ensuring that the calculator reflects best-practice paid media formats, budget splits and platforms. Understands how to provide competitive deliverables and pricing and makes suggestions to further improve efficiency where needed.
  • Writes comprehensive media plans following the relevant templates and outlining all necessary details to be used internally and to be reviewed by clients.
  • Leads on pitches and is able to answer any client questions on the paid media strategy, as well as offering client support on paid media campaigns.
  • Oversees campaign setup and execution.
  • Oversees the output of PCAs, ensures they are aligned with the proposed strategy, include relevant data and learnings, and is able to present these back to the client.
