Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long-term benefits strategy that supports business goals and enhances employee well-being.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of health, welfare, retirement, leave, voluntary and wellness programs.
  • Continuously assess market trends and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive benefit offerings.
  • Partner with leadership to drive benefits initiatives that support workforce engagement and productivity.
  • Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to optimize plan performance and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee annual benefits enrollment, communications, and employee education initiatives.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, utilization, and financial impact through data analysis and reporting.
  • Lead and develop benefits employee(s), providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Partner with HRBPs, HRIS, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and other departments to ensure seamless benefits administration and integration.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on benefits-related matters, advising leadership and communicating to employees.
