Requirements

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) product development experience
  • Global brand/product management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in processes such as: business planning, strategic marketing plan development, portfolio management and development, market research/customer insights, new product launches and business performance tracking across a global market landscape is required.
  • Demonstrated success in launching products or leading a company's entrance into a new category with innovative products or services is required.
  • A demonstrated track record in identifying winning consumer insights, growth opportunities, and priorities is required.
  • Prior experience working with global partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directly lead and mentor a team of experienced Brand Managers
  • Develop extensive strategic 3-5 year global brand strategy and category plans for the brand, ensuring the brand has a meaningful long term consumer position and achieves maximum volume profit/growth
  • Develop Global Branding Guide to clearly communicate brand strategies, positioning, key information and consistent communication to all internal business partners around the world
  • Manage brands to financial targets and brand budgets including the management of the Global TLP and Global Sku profitability.
  • Drive the analysis of products, brand and category performance.
  • Develop and Implement Channel Management strategies for the GBU
  • Build a category management plan for the brand to manage Global sku productivity and inventory
  • Oversees regional merchandising activities relative to category plan.
  • Ensure innovation of the brand across multiple touch points (product development, digital, creative, retail, advertising and global).
  • Collaborate with key affiliates to incorporate global market needs and feedback through consistent two-way communication to ensure effective flow of information
  • Execute global brand-building activities and develop global marketing tools, including brand and product advertising, and development of content with internal and external groups
  • Develop and manage brand forecasts
