Responsibilities

  • Play an important role in identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets across the P&C value chain, as well as other corporate initiatives, for strategic fit and value generation
  • Manage the execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions, including but not limited to deal sourcing, due diligence, executive and regulatory approval, transaction documentation, and integration support
  • Lead the preparation of financial analysis, including building complex models, assessment of synergies / dis-synergies, valuation analysis, and accretion / dilution
  • Monitor acquisition and investment activity within the Canadian P&C industry, including creation and maintenance of operational and transaction databases
  • Supervise the production of industry benchmarking reports and lead update / development of new industry benchmarking reports
  • Provide support as required for ad hoc requests from cross-functional teams and other corporate strategic initiatives
  • Play a lead role in mentoring and developing our junior analysts
