Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of cybersecurity engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment; summarizing the results accurately and concisely in written reports for a sophisticated client base consisting of top-tier law firms, financial institutions and corporations; managing consultants on engagements which involve teams of investigative researchers; and providing oral reports to clients, when appropriate.
  • Document and address information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.
  • Ability to work with clients, to include system owners and key stakeholders to understand organizational security controls and system/network architecture.
  • Knowledge of various cybersecurity applications, concepts and functions (i.e.: MFA, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Firewalls, SSO, Entra (or similar tools) for audit and policy enforcement, SSL security, normalized data processing)
  • Develop and employ secure configuration management processes.
  • Ensure acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization’s cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
  • Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
  • Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.
  • Define and document how the implementation of a new system or new interfaces between systems impacts the security posture of the current environment.
  • Determine the protection needs (i.e.: security controls) for the information system(s) and network(s) and document appropriately.
  • Develop strategies to expand the portfolio of services offered and improve the efficiency and consistency of service delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, threats, methodologies and core technologies to assimilate client needs and design appropriate technical solutions.
  • Lead assessment of current threat identification techniques and development of new methodologies and frameworks.
