Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance and advice on employee relations matters, ensuring successful partnerships across the organization.
  • Consults and supports managers, while ensuring fair and respectful treatment of team members.
  • Conducts thorough, objective, prompt investigations on employee relations matters.
  • Point of contact for employees and managers on company policies, programs and initiatives.
  • Coaches and advises management on performance management, disciplinary matters.
  • Advises and implements employment terminations.
  • Implements various projects and policies in conjunction with the central HR team and other key stakeholders.
  • Guides and supports local HR administrative staff with weekly meetings to address and resolve questions and ensure HR initiatives are executed.
  • Partners with legal, finance, HR and management to facilitate various workforce initiatives such as reduction in force, restructures, acquisitions, etc.
  • Ensures understanding, consistent application, and compliance of defined policies, programs and procedures and all state and local employment laws.
  • Partners with management on value added strategic priorities such as employee culture initiatives, employee surveys, diversity, equity and inclusion and more.
