Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, sourcing, and category management for all IMEA Indirect Spend, while simultaneously supporting the identification and implementation of best-in-class processes in Indirect activities globally.
  • Lead, coach and mentor a diverse team that supports a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Effectively manage key suppliers via risk mitigation, scorecards and KPI’s
  • Support the leadership of all Procurement in the IMEA region, whether solid line or dotted line reporting, to drive regional engagement, personnel development and growth, and KPI execution
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in project valuation and business modeling
  • Plan and negotiate long-term contracts that deliver a positive impact to corporate cost and service level objectives
  • Partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and vendor relationships
  • Monitor and analyze trends and market conditions for present and future pricing, availability and capacity of goods and services; coach and assist team in identifying supply base risk and drive implementation and closure of mitigation plans
  • Weigh and appropriately balance technological, market, competitive and organizational factors to achieve a competitive advantage
  • Build Supplier Relationship Management and risk management practices across the Indirect organization, in line with the Global Procurement processes
  • Stimulate and support supplier innovations, working with the other regional leaders to recommend new initiatives to build and expand the innovation and savings pipelines
  • Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and make recommendations for future investments while identifying possible savings opportunities
  • Develop and implement global strategic sourcing standard business processes and drive a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to proactively anticipate business needs
