Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and goals.
  • Lead the strategic planning process for the IT department, including the development of roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Oversee the IT project portfolio and IT services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement portfolio management processes and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to prioritize IT projects and services based on business value, risk, and resource availability.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the IT project portfolio and services, including project status, service delivery, resource utilization, and financial performance.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide recommendations for project and service prioritization, resourcing, and optimization.
  • Develop and monitor a common set of KPIs across the enterprise to measure the performance and impact of IT projects and services.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project managers, service managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate the successful execution of IT projects and delivery of IT services by ensuring adequate resource allocation and resolving conflicts or dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into project and service performance and portfolio health.
  • Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management and service delivery practices and processes.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon standards and aligns with project and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to manage vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Facilitate the successful collaboration of IT leaders across the family of companies through regular leadership meetings, communication of key updates, and regular check-ins with our IT Centers of Excellence (COEs).
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the IT strategy and portfolio management team.
