Responsibilities

  • Coaches and leads the sites and teams across all MSC’s light manufacturing operations with a focus on performance, accountability, and development.
  • Identifies and executes against opportunities for process improvements within operations and supply chain.
  • Analyzes departmental financial and operational performance, prepares operations and capital budgets and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.
  • Participates in special projects and takes a proactive approach to identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives into production.
  • Optimizes resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to analyze and enhance current business processes, focusing on process improvement and operational efficiency maximization.
  • Develops and implements Key Process Indicators (KPIs) to report out on the health of operations overall and at each specific location and track the success of process improvements.
  • Champions cultural change by influencing leaders and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement, teamwork, and Lean thinking at all levels of the organization.
  • Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
