Responsibilities

  • The Director of HR Shared Services (HRSS) is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, operations, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Services program. This role includes managing all aspects of HRSS operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the comprehensive HR Shared Services operations, including data administration, benefits administration (including annual benefits enrollment), leave administration, document management, associate call and case management, and vendor management.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operation across all HRSS functions to provide effective and efficient services to associates.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain service standards, performance metrics, and audit procedures.
  • Regularly evaluate and improve service delivery to ensure standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Establish and manage quality control processes to ensure consistent and high-performance levels.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HRSS operation and service delivery processes.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance the HR Service Delivery model, including HR Portals, Knowledgebase, Case Management, and Telephony applications.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of customer concerns, following an established service hierarchy for accurate and efficient issue resolution.
  • Oversee the document management process, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of HR-related documents.
  • Lead efforts to improve the document management process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and ease of access.
  • Drive the development and execution of effective HRSS operational strategies, including recruiting, training, coaching, and recognition programs.
  • Optimize workflow patterns, delineate duties and responsibilities, establish performance standards, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Foster a high-performing team environment with a focus on continuous development and performance excellence.
  • Provide escalation support, applying sound judgment to resolve complex issues and ensuring timely resolution of challenges.
  • Work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for key decisions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HRSS leadership and other stakeholders to identify and implement process, policy, and system improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions that improve HRSS processes and services.
