Responsibilities

  • Welcome Guests: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, assisting them in and out of vehicles by opening doors graciously. Provide special assistance to children, the elderly, and disabled guests.
  • Parking Guidance: Inform guests of vehicle parking procedures when needed and direct Valet Parkers accordingly.
  • Event Awareness: Review the daily event sheet with the Bell Captain and be familiar with regular guests. Stay informed about hotel facilities, activities, promotions, and local events to provide accurate information.
  • Valet Support: Assist Valet Parkers with issuing valet tickets to guests.
  • Traffic Management: Direct traffic flow at hotel driveways to ensure maximum safety.
  • Luggage Handling: Handle guests' luggage promptly and professionally, using safe handling techniques. Retrieve and load/unload luggage from vehicles, ensuring that the correct number of items is confirmed with guests before the vehicle departs.
  • Bellmen Support: Fill in for Bellmen when needed, assisting with retrieving and loading guest items from cars, buses, vans, and carts.
  • Information and Assistance: Respond positively to guest queries and provide accurate information about the hotel and local area.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards, including all safety protocols.
  • Lost & Found: Report and manage “Lost & Found” items.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned and requested.
