Responsibilities

  • Providing sophisticated calendar management for the CEO. Prioritising inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; making informed decisions and recommendations, to ensure a smooth day-to-day schedule.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for the CEO, managing their expense reports.
  • Completing a broad range of tasks that support the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the company, including assisting with research projects, producing reports and presentations, creating briefings, and preparing agendas for meetings and other documents.
  • Working closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Anticipating the CEO’s needs in advance of meetings, events, etc.
  • Acting as a ‘gateway’ to the CEO and their office, ensuring communication flows efficiently between the CEO and employees, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with the Senior Executive Team [SET].
  • Providing administrative support to the Chair and Board of Directors. This will include scheduling general and committee meetings, taking minutes and the collation and distribution of Board packs and reading material.
  • Supporting in preparing CEO correspondence for internal announcements, Board meetings, and events in collaboration with the CoS and the Marketing and Communications team [MarComs].
  • Conserving the CEO’s time by reading, researching, collecting, and analysing information as needed in advance.
  • Completing ad hoc requests as needed, including personal or family matters.
