Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the content strategy for Startups.co.uk. Devise a brand strategy to achieve or exceed business targets.
  • Own the commercial performance of the site and ensure targets are hit.
  • Have ownership of the website and build a roadmap with functional teams (SEO, CRO & Tech) outlining initiatives to deliver strategy via key milestones.
  • Communicate roadmap & strategy to key stakeholders.
  • Use data from Google Analytics and keyword research and tracking tools to develop the content strategy.
  • Create and commission briefs for new articles, updates and re-writes for the content team to deliver.
  • Present regular updates on performance.
  • Monitor performance and progress of initiatives.
  • Coordinate brand and functional team to ensure efficient workflow delivery.
  • Drive momentum on projects and ensure clear communication between all contributors.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of industry niche and vertical landscape, trends and market forces.
  • Work with MDs, Commercial Directors, and key clients to build customer success into strategy.
  • Work with the Design teams to create new innovative page designs that improve user experience and have a positive impact on the website’s engagement metrics.
