What is the main purpose of the Education Programme Officer role?
The main purpose of the Education Programme Officer role is to provide business and administrative support to the medical workforce, training, and education team, primarily focusing on the recruitment of trainee doctors and supporting the delivery of a workforce programme.
Where can this position be based?
This post can be based in either the Thames Valley office or the Wessex office, but there is an expectation to support both areas with recruitment.
What types of tasks will the Education Programme Officer undertake?
The Education Programme Officer will undertake a variety of tasks including supporting local, regional, and national recruitment activities, as well as other wider activities predominantly in the Thames Valley area.
Who will the post-holder work closely with?
The post-holder will work closely with the Education Programme Team Manager, serving as an interface between Senior Management and building strong relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
Is there any specific requirement regarding in-person work?
Yes, colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
