Responsibilities

  • Power electric system equipment protection and control (P&C) design, electrical parameters measurement design (instrument current and voltage transformers and transducers), selection and design of protective relays in substation bays and switchgears, signal and data communication cables and buses, protection and control logic and schemes development
  • Drawing preparation, basic electric calculations, power system selection and integration, technical specification
  • EPLAN documentation drawings preparation
  • Preparation of Transmission and Distribution substation and power plant electrical schematic drawings, Protection and Control Topology schematics, data or signal cable interconnections
  • Preparation of a complex power electric systems protection and control engineering documentation divided into Work packages with interfaces
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, EU standards, regulations, requirements and building codes
  • Define project scope and provide technical support for the information requests prior to, and during construction / installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases
  • Completion of As-Built documentation after commissioning completion
  • Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
  • Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical system audits, and start-up as needed
  • Involvement with the pre-commissioning and commissioning process
  • Comply with the safety legislation, in work respect safety, security rules, risks and recommendations during design phase and technically support of installations and commissioning phase
  • Completion of Design Risk Assessment & Preliminary H&S Plan
