  • To Apply For This Role, You Will Already Have
  • A relevant scientific qualification OR experience in at least one of the following disciplines:
  • RF Testing.
  • Cellular & Wireless systems such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
  • Global Satellite Navigation Systems such as GPS, Galileo or GLONASS.
  • Satellite Communication systems.
  • Ability to perform and interpret technical measurements in a laboratory environment, including some working knowledge of typical laboratory equipment e.g:
  • Voltmeters and Ammeters.
  • Oscilloscopes.
  • RF signal generators.
  • Receivers and Spectrum Analysers.
  • Antenna amplifiers.
  • To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you also have any of the following:
  • Familiarity with EMC test environments such as:
  • Anechoic chambers screened rooms.
  • Experience with test software such as:
  • TILE.
  • EMC32.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the EMC & Environmental team with your skills, you will:
  • Assist with preparation of test plans
  • Perform detailed tests and measurements as defined in Standards and procedures
  • Assist in preparation of physical test jigs and harnesses to facilitate the required tests and measurements
  • Be involved with preparation and running of automated test scripts and routines
  • Document results in accordance with our latest data management and development policies
