The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £65,000+, depending on experience.

The main responsibilities include producing electronics designs for aerospace products, taking products through the full lifecycle, developing and simulating circuits, testing prototypes, preparing technical documentation, participating in design reviews, and collaborating with cross-discipline engineering teams.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should ideally have a degree in a related discipline and preferably be a registered Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.

Essential skills include comfort in defining hardware requirements, competency in schematic entry and architecture definition, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
What specific technical experience is desirable?
Desirable experience includes working with motor drives, analogue sensor interfaces, SMPS design, failure protection circuits, PCB manufacturing, EMC, RoHS and environmental testing, and hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment.
Are there any specific toolsets that the candidate should be familiar with?
Yes, candidates should be familiar with toolsets such as Altium, LTSpice, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
