Responsibilities

  • Support the administration & control of several large marine monoline client relationships and develop the business further in a highly dynamic marketplace
  • Ensure underwriting and pricing quality (compliance with underwriting guidelines and authorities and achievement of the projected technical result)
  • Ensure an excellent level of service to clients and all stakeholders involved
  • Participate in the development and implementation of line of business, product, portfolio and market strategies
  • Acquire in-depth Marine insurance knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments in close collaboration and dialogue with respective market Underwriter / Senior Underwriter
  • Run result and portfolio analyses (including IBNR considerations)
  • Set up of and safeguard compliance with state-of-the-art monitoring process for all binder relationships
  • Push the digitization strategy of marine into the local markets/regions (e.g. implementation of Power BI dashboards, drive platform business/applications like Realytix, FlowIn, etc.)
  • Close interaction and co-operation with various teams, interfaces and stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Assume responsibility for special tasks, e.g. participate in projects, prepare presentations, etc.
