We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team in designing, developing, and implementing our innovative MRI and robotics platform. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on electrical engineering expertise, bridging the gap between visionary technology and practical application.Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers in the development of MR-guided robotic solutions and portable MRI systems.</li><li>Manage the entire lifecycle of product development from concept to deployment, ensuring projects meet quality standards, budget, and timelines.</li><li>Foster innovation and problem-solving skills within the team, encouraging a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&amp;D, Product Management, and Quality Assurance, to align engineering projects with company goals and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Drive the strategy for electrical engineering processes and technologies, including PCB design, power distribution, and signal integrity.</li><li>Oversee the design, simulation, testing, and iteration of electrical components and systems, ensuring robust and efficient product designs.</li><li>Manage resource allocation, project scheduling, and budgeting for the electrical engineering department.</li><li>Represent the engineering team in executive discussions, providing insights, updates, and strategic recommendations.</li></ul>Minimum Qualification:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.</li><li>7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in the medical device or healthcare technology sector.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and the development of electromechanical systems.</li><li>Proven track record of leading engineering teams and projects to successful outcomes.</li><li>Strong project management skills and proficiency in using project management tools.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards and quality assurance practices.</li></ul>Desired Experience:<ul><li>Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.</li><li>Basic knowledge of power electronics system and hardware connections.</li><li>Knowledge of robotics principles (kinematics and controls) is preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of MRI system hardware (RF coils, gradient coils, magnet, spectrometer, etc.) and lab equipment (function generator, oscilloscope, VNA, power supply, etc.)</li><li>Experience with simulation and design software (LTSpice, KiCAD, Altium, MATLAB, etc.)</li><li>Experience with programming languages (C/C++, Python, etc.)</li><li>Enjoy the challenges of working on time-sensitive and high impact projects.</li><li>Eager to share and learn from a multidisciplinary team and keen to take on new and unfamiliar tasks.</li></ul>
