Responsibilities

  • People Leadership – to lead, support and develop the team including succession planning.
  • Maintenance Management – to develop effective planned preventative maintenance strategies, working with Operations and Engineering Process Leaders to ensure an effective repair and maintenance plan is implemented. You will ensure critical spares are identified and managed and participate in the Management on Call Rota. You will be proactive in problem solving by leading and supporting root cause analysis when issues arise and implementing corrective and preventive actions and ensure these are appropriately documented and approved.
  • Budget & Strategy – to prepare, deliver and monitor the Capex three yearly plan and deliver the strategy for carbon reduction in line with group sustainability and responsibility targets. You will manage the repair, maintenance and overtime OPEX budgets and deliver and maintain digital transformation initiatives.
  • Project Management – to provide quality project management from initial design through to commissioning and project completion, delivering the Bulk Operations CAPEX Plan and managing projects across all sites to a safe and successful completion.
  • Engineering Improvements – to develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the engagement and involvement of the entire team to deliver benefits across the department. You will benchmark engineering processes and performance to identify opportunities for improvement and build and maintain a high profile of engineering excellence.
