What is the primary role of the Enterprise Architect?
The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to deliver standards, patterns, and designs to First Horizon’s technology organization while engaging diligently with stakeholders and business leaders to align technology solutions with business strategies.

The main responsibilities include managing solution design from conception to delivery, guiding and mentoring other architects, producing architecture documentation, collaborating with various teams, validating third-party solutions, and aligning IT strategy with business goals.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred, along with 5+ years of solutions architecture experience and 10+ years of application development or software engineering experience.

Yes, certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
