Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise-wide data architecture, encompassing analytics, reporting, transactional, and operational data systems.
  • Lead the organization's data transformation initiatives, aligning with our shift towards a SaaS model and preparing our data infrastructure for the next 5-10 years.
  • Drive the adoption of modern data technologies, including Data Lake and Data Lakehouse architectures, moving beyond traditional data warehouse approaches.
  • Design and implement integration strategies and event-driven architectures to connect distributed applications and ensure data quality and effectiveness across the enterprise.
  • Participate in the transition of transactional operations away from mainframe systems to more agile and scalable solutions.
  • Develop strategies to prepare our data ecosystem for self-service analytics and advanced AI/ML/GenAI applications.
  • Establish and enforce data discipline across the organization, including data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and industry best practices.
