Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with environmental regulations and permits during infrastructure projects (recordkeeping and reporting).
  • Conceptualize and own the data architecture on behalf of the environment team in collaboration with data science and engineering teams.
  • Develop and apply data foundation to support various environmental analytics workstreams to inform Meta’s reporting across multiple environmental disciplines, including air emissions, noise impacts, biological and cultural resources, and soil/groundwater cleanup.
  • Develop and maintain tools to integrate compliance and reporting across the build life-cycle, including mechanisms to monitor and report relevant environmental incidents (spills, releases, violations, complaints) for internal and external reporting requirements and adherence to environmental contracts.
  • Develop metrics and tools to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives & key results (OKRs) for environmental teams.
  • Complete thorough and accurate environmental data audits to identify areas for continuous improvements.
  • Organize, review and evaluate environmental monitoring data (e.g., air emissions, inspections).
  • Oversee data management, document control, and recordkeeping for data center and network environmental teams.
  • Lead data collection and analysis for the data center and network environmental programs required for reporting (Sustainability Reporting, Annual Environmental Reports).
