What is the primary responsibility of the Estimator (T&D) position?
The primary responsibility is to develop accurate cost estimates for Transmission, Distribution, and Substation projects, considering various factors such as materials, labor, and equipment.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A minimum of a Diploma or BE/BTech in any Engineering Stream, preferably Electrical or Civil, along with 5-15 years of relevant experience in estimating High Voltage Transmission and Substation projects.
What type of projects will the Estimator be working on?
The Estimator will primarily work on Electrical and Gas Transmission & Distribution Projects, as well as Substation Projects.
What software tools should the Estimator be familiar with?
The Estimator should be familiar with software such as HCSS, SageEOS, CostOS, Heavybid, Bluebeam, and Excel templates developed for estimation.
Is there a specific time frame for the working hours?
Yes, the position requires the candidate to work in the second shift, from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, to ensure overlap with the US office.
Does the Estimator need to collaborate with other teams?
Yes, the Estimator will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
