What types of projects will I be working on as a Fabricator?
You will be working on a variety of projects including Warships, Submarines, and other complex engineering projects at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.
What qualifications are required for this Fabricator position?
A minimum of one of the following qualifications is required: an Indentured Apprenticeship relevant to the role, a Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a sheet metal, structural steel, or fabrication-related discipline, or a Level 3 Engineering qualification relevant to the role.
Is experience in Marine Engineering necessary for this job?
Ideally, candidates should have experience in the Marine Engineering industry, particularly with Royal Navy ships, submarines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels, or large commercial ships. However, other relevant engineering experience may also be considered.
What are the working hours for this position?
