  • Experience integrating enterprise-scale applications including 3rd party applications
  • Familiarity and/or knowledge with implementing Cloud technology solutions with AWS and/or Azure

  • Experience with Java EE architecture and design using tools for areas such as web applications, web services, object persistence, messaging and event driven architectures.
  • Experience with database design and data integration using multiple DBMS tools including integration with data migration, query, and report generation tools.
  • Experience with information architectures knowledge and experience in the areas of data governance and business intelligence in a complex database environment with multiple DBMS and related BI technologies.
  • Experience with information security controls (certification preferred). Basic level experience with implementing several of the following: security architecture and design, threat modeling, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, security vulnerabilities, remediation activities, and system/network security.

Responsibilities

  • Provides architectural leadership, technology design expertise, direction, coordination, and consultation, in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing solutions
  • Partners with leadership to define and communicate long-term technology strategy and planning
  • Contributes to the design, development and implementation of short- and long-term technical solutions through new and existing applications
  • Consults on the most complex tasks or projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains
  • Provides technical solution architecture development, specifically regarding integration impact to other areas of the architecture including business, data and information, application, and technical architecture
  • Participates as a technical expert to ensure the success of enterprise-wide application rollouts
  • Works closely with management and project leads to assist in planning development projects and ensuring that evolution of technical environment is consistent with project goals and schedules
