Responsibilities

  • Develop and Design Detailed OSP System Layouts, including Route Analysis, Fiber Optic Cable Placement, Pole Line and Underground Conduit Systems, and other Related Infrastructure
  • Telecom Design and Documentation of OSP and Fiber Design, Documentation, Specifications, and Construction Administration
  • Perform Field Surveys and Site Visits to Collect Data and Assess Potential Construction Challenges
  • Create Detailed Drawings and Maps using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Software
  • Work closely with Municipal Authorities and other Utility Services to obtain necessary Permits and ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations
  • Monitor Project Progress, providing updates and adjustments to Designs as needed to address Field Changes and Challenges
  • Analyze and select Appropriate Materials and Technologies to Optimize Network Performance and Cost-Efficiency
  • Partnering with Designers for Final Drawings and Calculations
  • Researching design solutions and Industry best practice
