Responsibilities

  • Providing onsite and remote technical support for installation and commissioning and conducting maintenance autonomously on ABB equipment installed at mine sites
  • Identify and develop business and commercial opportunities, based on customer knowledge and collaboration across ABB.
  • Act as the key point of contact for customer technical service requests for assigned customer(s) to help them achieve their productivity and quality targets.
  • Consult with and advise customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process problems, perform Root Cause analysis, provide recommendations, and implement solutions to eliminate root causes.
  • Prepare and present reports to customers for maintenance services with their maintenance programs with recommendations for product, quality, and customer service improvements.
  • Domestic and International travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.
