Responsibilities

  • Review current RoR applications for security best practices, vulnerabilities and risks
  • Advise on security enhancements and co-architect solutions with cybersecurity and software engineering teams
  • Implement security features and improvements
  • Implement software features outside of security focus, as time allows
  • Co-develop and co-maintain security policies and procedures for cloud developers & environments, in concert with the cybersecurity team
  • Streamline security processes and tools
  • Monitor and participate in response to any security incidents in the cloud environment
  • Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies in the cloud space
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on cloud security best practices
