Responsibilities

  • The purpose of this position is to oversee the operations of the assigned classroom.
  • The incumbent provides supervisory guidance and direction to classroom staff, and effectively manages problem solving skills to meet student and staff needs.
  • The incumbent assesses, develops, and implements Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) for assigned students.
  • The position assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability for managing overall effectiveness of the classroom.
