Responsibilities

  • As a GIS Technician on our Telecom team, you will aid our engineers using ESRI’s suite of products, 3GIS and Netdesigner to perform design work and spatial analysis, create construction plan sets, conduct data collection activities, and model telecommunication networks.
  • You will be required to use your experience and proficiency as a data analyst with Esri software (ArcGIS Desktop & Pro) and skills with programming languages (Python) and SQL server management, you will review and manipulate data, perform in-depth analysis, and provide compelling visualizations to aid in telecommunication planning and design projects.
  • Your ability to clearly define a problem and select the most appropriate data sets to formulate a solution will be most important.
  • You may also travel to job sites for observation and/or field work, working in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
