Responsibilities

  • Have the opportunity to work in four different sectors of Marketing/Sales/Customer Success/ Conferences spending six months in each position.
  • Have a dedicated mentor in each placement to help guide and support you in your career goals.
  • Work with market experts in other departments such as Product Development, Editorial, Data Science, and Consulting.
  • Gain hands on experience with working alongside teams of passionate people.
  • Have the opportunity to attend industry leading conferences.
  • Have access to additional training through LinkedIn Learning and Mennta markets training programmes.
  • By the end of the programme, you will be competent working within the Sales/Customer Success/ Conference departments of Argus Media.
  • There is an opportunity to progress to a full-time role after the programme comes to an end.
  • Role and Responsibilities:
  • To forge strong business relationships with commodity market players in the region
  • Start developing sales skills such as good questioning techniques, problem identification, objection handling and overcoming gate keepers.
  • Provide excellent account management and customer experience to Argus customers from smooth on-boarding to resolving queries within the desired service level agreement.
  • Utilise the CRM, to track accounts throughout their subscription lifecycle, analyse client usage trends and identify tactics to drive growth and protect revenues.
  • Provide demonstrations, clarify client details and needs, evaluate new business opportunities relating to prices assessment, new products and improvements to the existing product line.
  • Gathering as much information on the company and participating in on-the-job training.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
  • Compiling reports and making presentations to other staff members.
  • Analysing existing systems and offering new ideas for improvement.
  • Conducting research and assisting the Manager or Supervisor wherever possible.
