This position is set to start in September 2025.
What type of projects will I be involved in as a Graduate Sustainability Engineer?
You will be involved in innovative and award-winning projects in sustainable design, including initiatives like the Hong Kong Science Park and Australia’s first 6 star Green Star community.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this role?
You should be on target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree, with a preference for those accredited with or on course to achieve a Master's level in Engineering or the Built Environment.
Is practical experience required for this position?
While not mandatory, it is desirable to have gained relevant practical experience in a similar role since graduation, along with demonstrable knowledge and experience of building physics.
What skills are particularly beneficial for this role?
Beneficial skills include knowledge of climate-based daylighting analysis, operational energy calculations using TM54, and familiarity with sustainability rating tools such as BREEAM and life cycle carbon costing.
Will I receive support for professional development?
Yes, you will be supported and encouraged to work towards Chartership through one of our accredited training schemes as your skills develop.
