Responsibilities

  • Understand overarching objectives of DP World, translate them into new customer facing products to help generate revenue and bottom line
  • Perform competitive benchmark analysis, analyze customer needs, look at surveys and quantitative data to come up with the right judgement of product and feature investments
  • Socialize the product ideas and key decisions in strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders; form productive and trusting relationships with them.
  • Work with junior product managers to effectively delegate tasks, and ensure the coming together of features for a holistic product, not just across technology, but across sales, operations, finance and commercial
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specs, and aggressively unblock the engineer teams to execute fast
  • Define a thoughtful, detailed, and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases, and products.
  • Write business cases, perform ROIs, and prioritize and write user stories; partner with product development team to break things down and plan them into releases.
  • Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with the marketing and communication team to create collateral that generates excitement and makes it easy for our potential customers to adopt and understand the benefits.
  • Measure the performance of product launches and iterate to success
  • Focus on building value for our business, not just features; develop innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of the key market challenges that already exist in competitor products.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations.
  • Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
