Requirements

  • An exuberant personality
  • Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential
  • Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Micros and Opera Experience would be preferable
  • Be able to work on your own initiative and cope well under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in both Front Office and Food and Beverage
  • A unique opportunity to cover both Front Office and Food and Beverage shifts
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine and able to make recommendations
  • Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times
  • Up-sell and maximise sales revenue for Front Office and Food and Beverage whenever possible
  • Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel
  • Register the guests and take payment
  • Answer any queries the guest may have on in-house facilities and tourist information
  • Update all guest information correctly in the computer
  • Take and confirm guest reservations
