Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the Director of Product and Engineering and managing Engineering leadership to promote a daring, pragmatic, and high-performing product culture that delivers timely and innovative solutions to customer problems
  • Collaborating closely with the CEO, Director of Product and Engineering, and Product Managers on Stint's strategic product development - helping to define and refine product roadmaps across various verticals
  • Maintaining a hands-on approach to technology while leading and managing the Engineering department
  • Overseeing the delivery and maintenance of product roadmaps across Stint's verticals, ensuring that Engineering projects meet quality standards and deadlines, while providing transparent progress and roadblock updates to senior leadership, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing and improving operational efficiency of processes and team structures, assessing their effectiveness and developing strategies to enhance productivity
  • Partnering with the Engineering Manager and Technical Leads (Back End, Front End, Platform) to align Engineering objectives with business goals and ensure their delivery over time
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to develop, manage, and maintain Stint's career progression framework and mentoring program, fostering self-development and cross-functional skill growth across Stint's technical stack
