Requirements

  • - Master degree in finance, accounting or economics including RA
  • - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience within accounting and finance.
  • - Experience in the apparel, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus.

  • - Strong knowledge of international accounting practices and tax regulations.
  • - Previous experience working with multiple currencies and international tax laws is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management, providing insights and recommendations.
  • International Accounting: Manage accounting processes across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global accounting standards.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations, inventory purchases, and international expansions.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee all tax-related activities, including filings, audits, and planning, ensuring compliance in each country of operation.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial records and prevent errors or fraud.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance and career development opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and optimize accounting processes, particularly with the implementation of ERP systems or accounting software.
