What is the work schedule for the Head of HR role?
The role is part-time, requiring 3 days a week of work from our office in Hoxton.
Who will I report to in this position?
You will report to the Managing Director.
How many direct reports will I have?
You will have two direct reports: the Recruitment & Office Manager (UK) and the HR & Office Manager (Pakistan).
Is international HR management a requirement for this role?
Yes, experience managing international HR and advising leadership teams on People & Culture best practices is essential.
What kind of training and development initiatives will I be responsible for?
You will organize "Mousterclasses" (masterclass training sessions) and provide or organize line manager training, including leadership training.
How is success measured in this role?
Success will be measured by improvements across the employee lifecycle, helping to avoid HR bottlenecks as we scale, and being a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team.
What are some key responsibilities in regard to employee engagement?
You will carry out surveys to gather insights, lead Culture Conversations, and be responsible for the recognition of great work performed across the business.
What type of policies will I be expected to own and manage?
You will write and secure approval for policies including hybrid working, expenses, device management, and time-in-lieu/leave allowances.
