  • Completion of Defence Intelligence Imagery Analysis Course (or UKIAC or FVEY equivalent)

  • Experience as a Geospatial Analyst in a professional capacity.
  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Completion of Defence Intelligence Analysis Module.
  • Completion of Defence Systems Approach to Training courses including any of the following: Training Needs Analysis, Internal Validation, External Validation, Training Audit, Training Design.

Responsibilities

  • Providing training-related advice, expertise and guidance to customers and partners, ensuring that training input is provided when new capabilities are being introduced.
  • Maintaining a high-level of knowledge of NCGI-A activities, ensuring new and emerging capabilities are supported with suitable training activities.
  • Tracking and influencing the career professional development of NCGI-A Tradecraft staff.
  • Acting as NCGI-A Training subject matter expert for NCGI projects and external GEOINT-related initiatives across Defence, achieved through maintaining links with both the UK Defence Community and Allied training partners.
  • Leading, motivating and inspiring a team comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a range of expertise and experiences, with direct line management responsibility for up to 5 civilian and 3 military staff and supervisory responsibilities for up to 12 staff.
