What is the main purpose of the Head of Pricing role?
The main purpose is to develop and lead a pricing team and create a pricing strategy for Fieldfisher that aligns with the firm's overall strategy, enhances client profitability, and introduces pricing models to support the business and enhance client service.
Where is this position based?
This is a European role that can be based out of our London office or one of our European offices, with required travel when necessary.
Who will this role report to?
The Head of Pricing will report to the CFO.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should be partly or fully qualified with previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment, particularly in strategic pricing in a professional services context.
What types of pricing techniques will be considered in this role?
The role will consider modern pricing techniques, including alternative billing methods such as fixed fees, AI, automation, and pricing for new products and service lines.
What are the expected responsibilities regarding team management?
The responsibilities include recruitment, development, and leadership of a commercial pricing team, as well as managing relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
Is language proficiency a requirement for this position?
While it is ideal to be able to speak multiple languages, it is not a prerequisite for this role.
