What are the primary responsibilities of a Histology Technician?
The primary responsibilities include assisting in surgery by preparing very thin tissue sections, processing and staining tissue samples, preparing slides for analysis, and performing complex histological procedures to obtain a patient diagnosis.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position expected to last for 6 months, with full-time hours.

The work site is fully on-site in San Diego, California.
What kind of work environment can I expect?
You can expect a fast-paced histology/pathology lab, working alongside like-minded individuals, assigned to one physician and performing a significant number of MOHS surgeries per night.
What are the required working hours for this position?
The position involves PM shift work, so expect to work in the evening hours.
What kind of equipment will I be working with?
You will work with various lab equipment and instruments related to histology, which you will maintain, clean, and repair as per established procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.
