Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer HR programs, policies, and practices as a standalone resource or within a shared-services HR model.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries, providing guidance on HR programs, processes, and procedures, including harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
  • Monitor issues and complaints, providing feedback on HR policies and programs to area specialists and management.
  • Perform HR duties across various functional areas such as workforce planning, talent management and development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and labor relations.
  • Work closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, increase employee engagement, and improve retention.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department programs, policies, and practices.
  • Partner with management and employees to communicate and advise on HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
  • Conduct research and evaluate data to support assigned goals, making recommendations for corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews.
  • Participate in staff meetings, seminars, and other relevant meetings.
  • Provide support and guidance on HR programs, policies, procedures, processes, communications, and initiatives.
  • Potential involvement in labor relations and negotiations.
  • Travel will be required (approximately 10%).
