Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain the Workday system for all modules including but not limited to Absence, Payroll, Core HCM, Talent and Performance
  • Provide customer-friendly handling and resolution of user inquiries, questions, and problems via the HRIS ticket queue
  • Provide functional and technical support to end-users
  • Serve as support for HR and Payroll team inquiries (and occasional outside teams)
  • Analyze business requirements and configure Workday business processes to optimize workflows. This includes creating, modifying, and maintaining business process definitions, condition rules, and notifications to ensure efficient and compliant operations
  • Monitor recurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential opportunities of increased efficiency and enhancements
  • Partner with other HRIS members and Functional Leads in creating communications and training on functionality/user interface changes
  • Assist Functional Leads with developing user procedures, guidelines and training materials
  • Partner with other HRIS Members and assist functional leads with preparing and executing Workday release testing
  • Act as a thought partner with the Functional Leads to review/consider new features and their value
  • Support projects to roll out new modules and functionality including scope documentation, design, UAT testing, and implementation
  • Assist HR team members with creation of reports to support their day to day responsibilities
  • Conduct audits for data quality and system maintenance
  • Proactively identify report/dashboard opportunities to improve Workday utilization of functional areas
  • Maintain an understanding of the product and the underlying, global business processes in order to predict downstream implications of challenges and system changes and allow for effective troubleshooting.
