  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities (investigations, recruitment activities, and projects) and manufacturing facility
  • Professional certification as a PHR or SPHR; OR
  • Knowledge of and experience with employment law and Human Resources best practices

  • Thorough knowledge of conducting workplace investigations and behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS/recruiting or Applicant Tracking
  • Strong influential leadership skills to mentor and coach members of the Business Center team
  • Confidentiality regarding employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management actions that require extreme discretion
  • Skilled at defining and analyzing problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions in workplace investigations
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, coaching, and presentation delivery
  • Ability to build effective relationships with business team members
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization in the areas of expertise while exercising good judgment when dealing with issues
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and ability to multi-task
  • Effective project management skills

Responsibilities

  • - Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and foster a harmonious work environment
  • - Implement initiatives to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and engagement within the organization
  • - Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures and guide both employees and managers
  • - Conduct investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, or policy violations, maintain confidentiality and ensure a fair process
  • - Collaborate with managers to address performance issues, facilitate improvement plans, and ensure the implementation of performance evaluations for exempt staff
  • - Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and diversity and inclusion
  • - Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure all employee relations practices are legally compliant
  • - Serve as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, aid, and advocate for fair treatment
  • - Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and identify trends to enhance retention efforts and improve the offboarding process
  • - Perform other tasks as required
