Requirements

  • A current DHS Background Investigation is required to start
  • A current Top Secret clearance is preferred, minimum of a secret clearance is required
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Human Systems Integration (HSI) expertise in order to assist the Government with ensuring that DHS acquisition programs generate a suitable test and evaluation approach that is executable and adequately assesses the system’s HSI
  • Provide support across the portfolio of T&E National Preparedness Programs (USCG & FEMA), Transportation Security Programs (TSA), Immigration & Border Security Programs( CBP, USCIS, ICE), Cyberspace & Homeland Security Programs (All IT Programs), & CBRN Detection Programs (CWMD)
  • Provide support, guidance, and recommendations within HSI T&E in the review of program artifacts to include CONOPS, ORDs, TEMPs, Operational Assessment/Test Plans, Operational Assessment/Test Reports, and the development of Letters of Assessment
  • Provide support to during program IPTs and Department lead acquisition review team meetings and other meetings as required
  • Provide support to the instructional advisor regarding HSI T&E inclusion within the T&E curriculum
  • Provide as directed focused training on HSI T&E
  • Research Government and industry acquisition and T&E sources and analyze results for applicable HSI T&E tools, plans, and procedures
