Responsibilities

  • Manage Real Estate negotiations including options, agreements for lease, easements etc. for the assembly of large scale solar and storage sites across Italy
  • Support the development team in corporate matters including Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), Development Service Agreements (DSA), Framework Agreements (FA) negotiations with Solar & Storage regional co-developers, who will partner with Elgin to develop projects on the ground in Italy.
  • Manage development funding obligations including securing project finance and other funding arrangements.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and stakeholders to provide legal support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with and have recurring meetings with the inhouse legal team sitting in Dublin, interacting as a cohesive group, making sure to maintain the same approaches and high standards
  • Conduct legal research, assess risks, and provide recommendations related to project executive and compliance.
  • Review project contracts, agreements, and related documents.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure legal compliance.
  • Experience across a range of corporate transactions including mergers & acquisitions restructurings and venture capital.
  • Highly organised and efficient with an ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Review and advise on commercial contracts such as letters of engagement and agreements with third party suppliers; and
  • Manage and instruct external counsel.
