  • Work with the Global Head of Operations to lead the data function, and design a roadmap to continuously improve our input data offering, quality, processes, systems, tools and methodologies.
  • Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team, exploring new ways to optimize how we operate and allocate resources across data pillars.
  • Own input data quality and integrity, be the point of contact on all data related issues for the group. Input data include: security reference, market data, corporate actions, fundamentals, rates, ESG, etc. across equity, fixed income and leveraged loans.
  • Own and maintain the logical data model and inventory of all input data sets required to power the index business.
  • Create a framework and scalable process to adapt and expand our data capabilities to power product development and index production, as it pertains to onboarding new data sets, client-specific data, etc.
  • Manage relationships with internal data partners and external vendors so as to effectively meet current and future data needs of the business. Build and maintain data and vendor evaluation framework.
  • Identify, measure and report on key data operating and quality (accuracy, completeness and timeliness) metrics, and utilize the data to initiate data assurance programs and drive continuous data quality and process improvement.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with your team and other stakeholders to provide updates on team progress, address roadblocks and celebrate wins.
  • Recruit, develop and manage team to effectively deliver value to the business.
  • Lead and participate in relevant governance and operational committees.
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
  • Provide oversight for other indexes functions in the Frankfurt office.
