Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture or equivalent from a recognised institution coupled with 5-10 (but not limited to) years demonstrated professional experience
  • Demonstrated software skills with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Revit
  • Experience in design and delivery of projects from inception through to completion including schematic design, brief establishments, client liaising and involvement in stakeholder consultation, design development and detailing, contract documentation and construction administration
  • Excellent design, communication (both written and verbal), and consultation skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • An adaptive and innovative mindset, ready to build effective networks with peers and clients

Responsibilities

  • Design and delivery of projects from inception through to completion alongside a fully integrated team including architects, building services engineers, structural engineers, civil engineers, a sustainment team and the like
  • Comfortably undertaking leading roles on projects to craft design solutions which capture the client brief and context with a human-centered focus
  • Support the Interior Design team, Project Managers and Studio Leadership team by bringing fresh initiatives and client focused outcomes
  • Help train and mentor incoming Interior Design graduates
