Responsibilities

  • Analysing and assessing business cases and investments (IT and other) from various economic perspectives (IFRS and VBM and Cash Flow view, management and legal view, financial funding etc.)
  • Preparing controlling recommendations to the Reinsurance Committee in close cooperation with neighbouring finance functions, the reinsurance CFO and IT to address issues in context of economic, risk and accounting perspectives
  • Prepare the financial planning and monitoring processes for the ITIB in close cooperation with other sections in the department
  • Establish and continuously develop an approach to evaluate and monitor business cases
  • Develop and prepare senior management presentations and relevant decision proposals
  • Support in developing analysis and visualization that help business and senior executives in data-driven decision making
  • Support with the automation and digitalisation of systems, tools, interfaces and processes to further boost the efficiency
